We do it with apricots instead of dates. The landlady uses some kinda bakers' chocolate chunks instead of chips, and that does chocolatize it more.

I woke up once at 3 am to a baby rabbit screaming. Thanks to our indoor ourdoor cat. The next day we blocked off the doggie door he was using!

I like cornbread but most is made too sweet for me. I reduce the sugar and add jalapenos and cheddar.

I have a basic recipe for a cinnamon coffeecake that was elevated by adding thinly sliced apple to the batter and cooking it a bit lower and longer. Used to make it and bring to work/school (still warm). Never had any leftovers.

I prefer to drink my coffee... somehow that sounds like it's sweet... and maybe chocolately.

Bergen (been there), as Norwegian cities go, seems to be the source of half the Norwegians in North America. My spousal unit’s family originated there and over the decades members have gone back & forth.

The genealogy is fairly easy, they keep good records, and family is important so they will often correspond and gladly meet if you visit.

Some places seem to assume that because of my lengthy career that I'll want more money than they're willing to pay. If they conclude that, then I concur with their astuteness.

Right.... 8 have learned it isnt always qbout the money. In my current job it is because of bs and stupid peers...... but my peace is worth more to me than a few bucks

These guys I talked to yesterday seemed cool enough. Of course, everyone is on their best behavior but still. They seemed like they wouldn't suck to work with/for. And if the money is less, I think that I'll have more say in the day-to-day.

I have the city my great great grandma came from.... we thought closer to trondheim but actually was told closer to Bergen
Names in that region have changed when they consolidated counties or some such thing
