It ain't fruitcake. Fruitcake is best allowed to harden and then to be used inside the house as a doorstop or outside as paving bricks.


It's bread with fruit and chocolate, and it's pretty decent. I like it. Mom makes it, and the landlady hunted a recipe online which is a reliable equal to Mom's. We use apricots instead of dates.

Renovating old tired low income apartments. Not everybody can/will do this shit. This job will be interiors only. Cabinets, fixtures, floors, paint, appliances, and new mechanicals. Vacant units, thanks be to Allah.

I've been doing this shit/stuff in one form or fashion since the Bush 1 recession. You know, Dana Carvey doing Herbert Herbert and the economy was "hovering." Yeah. I hovered into renovation and worked my way down the affordability scale to wind up in Low Income Housing/Tax Credit work. Like i said, a lot of people don't want to do it. My temperament seems to have evolved into it also.
