92 here yesterday heat index 101. 95 today heat index 105. 90s through wednesday.

Sadly I think it is a girl thing. My wife taught at the local JuCo and ran into this with not only her bosses but her students! You know the type. Didn’t have the grades to get into a university so killing time at the community college trying to figure out what they want to be when they finally grow up. She like you, didn’t like the confrontation, but if she didn’t stand up she’d get steamrolled.

It eventually drove her out of the field. She’s much happier now.

One of the reasons I taught Seniors. By that time, they're pretty invested in their program and were so close to the end they could taste it! That said, I did fail one student in her Senior year. I would do everything possible to help my students but if you lie to me? Try to BS me? I don't play. She doubled down and tried to sue the school and me personally. She got expelled.

Happy Friday. Waiting to hear from the job folks. I suspect that like most employers, they waited until the last bloody moment to hire a body for their job. They did tell me that I'm overqualified for what they need. Good, then I won't have to work as hard. And the job is close enough that I can bike it to work a lot of days. Motorcycle, not pedaling.

Update from storm cental: All of the pop up thrunderstorms went to the north, south and east of me. Wow was I lucky. The damage is extensive from what I see on the news.

Today and tomorrow they are forecasting the same pattern. Yes the weather is crazy!!!

AND I see my GF this afternoon.
