I hate that (maybe a girl thing?) That i have to stand up and be so hard headed and heavy handed with people. Put my foot down it situations.... i get labeled a bitch and I dont want to cause conflict...I hate confrontation.... it wars heavily wit my work ethic and desire to do the job correctly without interference with knobwankers that are useless and stupid...

Sadly I think it is a girl thing. My wife taught at the local JuCo and ran into this with not only her bosses but her students! You know the type. Didn’t have the grades to get into a university so killing time at the community college trying to figure out what they want to be when they finally grow up. She like you, didn’t like the confrontation, but if she didn’t stand up she’d get steamrolled.

It eventually drove her out of the field. She’s much happier now.
