The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

I’m sure mine will also. My headaches come from above, although I never see the little tyrants who put out these edicts but once a year. I do have to live and work under them though.

They’ve in effect made a wonderful job much less so. They answer to a BOD who answers to the BIG man. You can see how it all rolls.

Six to seven more yrs…then the ejection handle will be pulled and pulled hard!
And what a thrilling feeling it will be!

I just got an email from compliance..... the are the bane of my existence....... go away.

I would respect the process more if they followed the rules 100%. I tell them Medicare guidelines that come out that would cause an oig audit if they found out and they start this "acceptable risk" bs talk..... but they send me through all the gates of hell for if I should use the word "fourth" or the abbreviation "4th" on a tip sheet.....

I am afraid to open the email. I had a great day yesterday....ugh
Maybe just delete it. Plausible deniability.

"Oops! I must have deleted that accidentally!"

Quite the scare last night
Sheriff showed up and told us there was a fast moving fire heading for us
We loaded the truck with essential clothes meds guns ammo and weed
The essential
We waited it out and they got it out before it got too close
We’re good just have to unload the truck
But first have to give our girls a drink
OMG, C! I'm so glad the fire was put out. Wildfires are so scary now! What do you do with your animals if you have to evacuate?

We used to rarely get fires like that in western WA, but they've been increasing in frequency last few years. A few years ago, we had a bad one in our area; the evacuation zone was less than 0.5 miles from our house. I packed up go bags for the two of us, put the dog's crate in the truck, packed up food and water so we could leave at a moment's notice. We slept in shifts so we could leave quickly. It was probably one of the most frightening times I've ever had.

Hugs, girl! 🫂🫂

Greetings everyone! Apologies for the long absence - life went into overdrive for a while (in a good way), and I found the thread moving so fast that I had trouble keeping up (I’m slow 😛) so I kept telling myself I’d read a d catch up but never did.

Heat wave here, I hope wherever you are it’s more comfy.

Cowboy that is scary! I heard that fires are breaking out everywhere
About time you showed up. BTW - OM is looking for you... 😳😂🤣

It was hot here today but I was stuck in a ac office. I really hate ac. Not a fan (see what I did there??) 😉

I seriously, don’t like air conditioning. I don’t wanna be brutally hot and sweaty either, but I don’t mind it. I also don’t mind humidity. I know I’m a wacko.

It reminds me of being a kid on summer vacation. As I get older, I like it less than less, but I still don’t mind it and I still enjoy having my car or truck windows open rather than putting on AC.

Had a nice swim w miss conduct when I got home. Just chilled and sat poolside till the sun went down and listened to good music.

Fun night.

My daughter is still testing positive and since I’m seeing my mom Sunday more time apart. I’m needing to see my kid… 🙁

Oddly, since I have window units (damned old house, damned cheap-ass homeowner), I hate the darkness from closing off some of the light. My machines are new(er) and relatively quiet, but I've been doing fans since I needed to run something. I may get through today on fans alone, but the units have to go in by end of day tomorrow. And tomorrow is the solstice, too. BTW, for those who are unaware, the solstice is an astronomical event and not a date on the calendar.

I saw what you did there and thought about groaning but decided to laugh. Keep having fun, Friend O' Mine.
