Missed one - ETA:
My boy cat loved the entire bathroom - sink, tub, and the top shelf of the "bakers rack" over the commode became his territory as soon as I got it set up. He loved all the high perches in that apartment!
The tub was their "safe space" when the evil vacuum showed up. It was also cool in the Summer and warm in the Winter. Silly kitties! 😻🤗

OMG - once worked with a man who was extremely book smart but so street stupid IDK if he would have survived simple day-to-day living without first his mother and then later his wife.

It's bookmarked now... Bread by @Lilianna23

café smarts AND Lit smarts 😆

changes that saying for new moms:
Sleep when the baby sleeps
Sleep when the phone charges

Wise man, your grandpa

I've only been to Spokane, WA (lovely). Think I need to do a bit more visiting that general area!

I'm now chocolate intolerant... and with several bars of dark chocolate in my freezer. I know they're in there somewhere.

A clean gun is a happy gun

I had a co-worker once who had a kitten that loved showering with him. Not a breed that normally likes water. Kitten was a rescue and needed flea dips very early. Co-worker figured that's when kitty got acclimated to water. What a character! (both of them actually)

Amazing what you can do with food and an open fire!

 What a cutie!! I'm so sorry Ivan isn't with you still, but happy you and Sven found each other! He's adorable!!

I told them to wait, but do they listen to me? No!
"Try a little subtlety", I said. "Wait a bit; don't be so eager", I said. "He's sure to try a bag or two no matter when we launch."
Heads will roll on Monday. Mark my words!
Alienated our target market! Unacceptable!

My first bike was a similar color! I remember like it was yesterday... my 7th birthday! Looked something like this:

Thank you all for sharing!

He does!! I've gifted Teddy Bears to many a newborn that look remarkably like this cutie-pie!! He looks snuggalicious!!
Love ur updates L2!!

And the Great Danes. A client of mine had these and they were the size of a pony. You could have ridden them around the yard. My son had a Rottweiler and he was a big boy too, such a big softy. Sadly I had to re home him as my son’s wife couldn’t cope after a difficult child birth that nearly killed her and my grandson. I would have kept him if we could be didn’t have room in the kennels.
Some breeds like cane Corson and mastiff can be even bigger
my cousins used to have a St. Bernard. Thing was huge and was 140 lbs if I remember correctly. We used to ride him like a horse as little kids.

Naturally his name was Tiny. 😂

The landlady's labs are both big kids. Beau hasn't been to the vet since he finished growing and he was 95# in late adolescence. Daisy is shorter but half again wider and a bit deeper bodied, so I reckon there's no way she's less than 110# and I'd put him in the same weight class, too. They compete with each other for your attention when you go to the house and get to bouncing and shoving each other out of the way, so a body has to be careful not to get knocked down.

Father’s Day was good. My daughter, unfortunately has Covid (very benign Case, but best for us not to be around one another).

Saw my mom, and on the way back my wife had a brilliant idea. We went to the Royal bar, a really divey biker place that we enjoy. Ordered a beer and a burger.

I told my daughter we were there and she used TouchTunes to play a great Father’s Day lineup. It was great!
La Grange - ZZ Top
On Parole - Motorhead
Pretty Vacant - Sex Pistols
Looking for Lewis and Clark - Long Ryders
Barroom Hero - Dropkick Murphy’s
Middle Eastern Holiday - Hard-Fi

Then I mowed the lawn and made really anal super straight lines the way I like it.

Man, that's the bestest part about Out West, first thing in the morning. Besides, the rising sun lightens the Southwest so nicely.
I have always been one for early morning. During the winter I am out in the dark hunting geese on the Merse. Walk out in the dark, tuck into a ditch with dog and gun and sit back and listen to the wildfowl waking ready to flight, hoping for a shot. It’s just magical whatever the weather. See wonderful sunrises over the Lakeland fells and mountains on the South Solway. It’s why I love living here…..it’s just a dream come true!

This is my last year living Back East (I hope). Greed and wants aside, Out West calls and it's always confirmed when I'm there that it is where I'm supposed to be - as much as anyone is supposed to be anywhere.

The old rifle is in town and "out for delivery." It might be here at the house tonight. This will be interesting.

If it calls, you have to go West.

I came up here hunting for 40 years, never thought the management would want to live here. She came with me 2015 when we stumbled on this place and looked at in detail early 2016, thought fuck it, put an offer in and went south to sell up. The rest is history. You can spend your life worrying what might happen in the future or you can just make it happen yourself! No point expecting others to make you happy!
