I would argue that there's room for bacon AND avocado on most everything. They go together like peas & carrots, beans & rice, toast & jam, Captain & Tennille...ok, I'll stopTechnically, I think hipsters would have covered everything in avocado.

Every gastropub I’ve been to, and I’ve been to a lot, has avocado toast for sure. But bacon, or bacon jelly, or bacon reduction or some such is in nearly every other dish. It’s as hipster as stupid hats.Technically, I think hipsters would have covered everything in avocado.
