Same type of issue we’re having. We have major erosion, threatening our buildings. One of the old barn foundations is actually collapsed into the stream and there’s nothing we can do about it.

Unless you have millions of dollars to file applications, want to invite the DEP to come to your site to do a survey for threatened or endangered species (and God help you if you do actually have one in your habitat).

I love to just put riprap down on the rotating stream banks, but if they find it, you have to remove it and get fined by the day.

I really need to bring in a hydrologist, or an engineer to take a look and see what’s the best way is to proceed.

But, Essentially, we’re fucked.

When I sit down and begin to think about what's down the road we're headed, I realize it's only a matter of time. I don't see a fix for what's coming. It's just plain sad.

I definitely do. I wish I didn't, but life is short and one cannot go back! Although, I don't seem to remember malls, perhaps that was an American thing. I remember discovering department stores, and loved walking around them, and looking at all the wonderful things they sold, and of course I could not afford as a teen. My dad used to say that he was cleaning all the cowboys and indians out of the TV at the back when he was actually changing the bulbs or whatever they were in those days, when we were small kids!

These sound good, L2WU! I'll give it a try. I do use GF oats in mine. I just throw in stuff from my pantry and freezer.

Oats don't always make my tummy happy. But recipe is so versatile! I do extra add-ins all the time: hemp hearts, chia seeds, hulled millet, sunflower seeds. Not all of them all at once, but you know...

It’s a day at the computer for me and recovery from 6 hours driving yesterday. Great day celebrating my mums 89 birthday. Then after lunch I offer to take her for a walk around the block with my brother. Get out of the door and she takes us on a 2 1/2 mile hike into the country and back home!
