Oh the irony. Hunter Biden's attorneys moved for a dismissal based on the form in question being unconstitutional based on the Bruen decision. The judge denied the request but did so without prejudice meaning that the constitutional argument is still in play.

So, the stock is looking damned good, so I started pulling the rifle down to its components. Fucking op-rod spring is broken in 2 places. Also, like the carbine I did earlier this year, being as this is/was a foreign rifle, its hygiene leaves a good bit to be desired. So the bolt and the clip-well pieces are all in a good-sized bowl and soaking in Hoppe's #9. Can't get the clip release pin to come out, so a touch of carb cleaner got sprayed on that on the theory that there's some funky crud in there attempting to fuse the thing.

Here's wagering that a CMP rifle would just about fall apart. And wouldn't have a fucked-up op-rod spring.

Off to place an order . . . .

Well it will sure put a crimp in the gun grabbers efforts going forward. If Biden prevails a significant portion of the 'background' check will be rendered unconstitutional.

That's what it sounds like, and that background check stuff has a bit of history to it. I have been of two minds about it since it arrived. It would have made me happier if they had implemented scooping up the liars and prosecuting them. I think a guilty verdict would amount to a fiver of fed time. In a lot of cases, I'm sure that they could find some other stuff - like firearms already in their felonious possession - to do some added time.

The Bezoses of all people have op rod springs. I could find it a bit cheaper elsewhere, but with some s&h added on. Jeff will have it here tomorrow, a long with a few other things I decided I would like to have, too.

Tell me some more whoppers about the alphabets a'comin' to take me away. Links and proof required.

Oh wait . . . .

Cunts a'gonna cunt!!!

Utah man killed in FBI raid had confronted Provo police with AR-15 before, records show

The FBI has a history of not thinking too highly of the lives of the American citizenry at large. Note the misnamed Hostage Rescue Team. But I'm sure that J. Edgar is proud, assuming Allah lets him off the spit long enough to think of something else.

Fucking Bunch of Idiots.

Got another coat of finish on the M1 stock. It's going to turn out just fine, thank you. I'm sanding between coats. Damned fine looking pieces of walnut.

🙄

The legal theory is that if the premise behind the question is unconstitutional then no matter how you answer the question cannot be considered a crime.

Because if'n it's unconstitutional, then it never was a law in the first place.

I wonder if Uncle Joe knows . . . .
