The old dog and slept in until day break. It is quiet on a cool Saturday morning. My Catalpa tree is in full bloom. Their white flowers drift down and making my lush green lawn white like a first snow fall.

Good that you could sleep in today! I did not know of catalpa trees. They're very pretty! I bet your lawn looks cool with all the blossoms on it!

Happy Saturday!!! Did sleep okay. Fixin' to wash and finish loading so's we can get this show on the road. TDK is on the bed, so if she stays there, she'll be easy to catch.


Since July of last year, I have had a bit of edema in my ankles and feet. As of today, everything looks normal. Maybe I need more hills in my life to keep that crap walked out. Or I'm dehydrated. No matter - I'll take it.

Try wearing compression socks for your foot and ankle edema. You can get some that just look like regular socks. They will help the valves in your veins. It may also be that you were more active there. Exercise also helps keep edema at bay.

This morning I hear a baby crying? I’m thinking the wife is watching videos from yesterday, when we watched the granddaughter, then I feel a hand on my foot this morning at 5. It’s her and the baby. My son had to take the DiL to the hospital for kidney pain again. This happened a couple months ago. So now we’re trying to soothe a cranky 11 month old into an off schedule slumber.

As I’m typing this she finally went to sleep! On that note, the subtle beauty of the High Desert! Morning Z:

It was beyond boring. Just sat in front of the TV all day. Watched the last 5 shows of WHEEL OF FORTUNE w/ Pat Sayjak. It won't be the same w/out him. I feel the same w/ THE PRICE IS RIGHT, It's not the same w/out Bob Barker.

The weather man said it's cooling off today w/ a 109* because the past few days were 113* & above. LoL at the 7nday Forcast.
