The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Don't visit Scotland! Not that we wouldn't love to have you here but I can't be doing with whining 😆 😅
I liked the weather in Scotland. Milder winters for sure.
Just have to abandon the idea of an umbrella in the windy season really.

Mind you when it hit 12-13C (50-55F) we Americans were in shorts and the locals gave us... looks. 🤣

Afternoon on a lovely day as 74F with clouds coming in now and rain tonight. No storms. I spent the morning with my GF and she was my physical trainer - needed rest afterwards. :ROFLMAO:

The old dog is walked again and I will be leaving to have dinner with friends and games too around 4. I will catch up in the morning.

There is a sediment area the size of a football field in NW Philly (an ugly black pool of yuk) where the stuff is piped to..(don't breathe). Driving past it on my way to work was gagging

So I am a trustee on the sewer board and if there sed pond smells that bad they don't have the right bugs. Prob because of all the bleach etc killing normal microbes that "eat" the smelly stuff

Be careful brother! Gotta take care of yourself first

Done drive back an' made it 'thout bein' killt. TDK didn't settle down all that well. Did stop for a 20-minute roadside nap. It was the thing to do.

Tomorrow will probably be a slack kinda day.

Oh, we used the truck and pushed the hit post back to where it looked like it wanted to be and dumped some sacrete in to hold it when it sets. The landlady didn't even have to adjust the camera on it (which looks at the campground across the street.

And the campers who wanted the cat left today and took her. Seems the cat made friends with their dogs.

Since my knee replacements I wear medical grade (i.e. Rx) compression stockings every day. Knee high daily and thigh high for all plane rides and any car trips over 2 hrs long.
The OTC socks tend to be 15-20 mmHg. Might be enough to help?? IDK - ask at next check-up if concerned.
(sorry - I have an over-abundance of the "helper gene". :ROFLMAO: )

That's okay. I call them Old Man Socks. I have some knee-high 15-20s I use routinely. After driving all day, I have a touch of swelling but nothing major, especially after sitting all day.

Dead body disposal.

Used to be, cut off the head and hands. DNA tracking messes that up.

Two to a coffin still works.

Bribe a cremator.

Bury the body 10' deep and a dead livestock critter at 5'. Horses or cows are good.

Bore a hole and bury the body vertically. Satellite imagine will see a small hole, not a long one.

Chemicals. Dissolve it.

Put in pigs - 6 or 8. Starve them a day or 2 before feeding the body to them. It'll be eaten in minutes and pig poop in a few hours.

Basically, the fewer people know, the better, else you'll have to add to the list.

:D

That's good to hear. I'm a walking 🐪 even with the stockings. :ROFLMAO:

I got to spend some time with Fred the (girl) (former) barn cat. She's indoors now. She was Hell on birds and small vermin while she lived outside. I know, have seen that she's a killer. She ate hers.

Her sister, Ethyl, lives with me. I don't know about her killing history (she came in while still a young cat) but I do know that she attacked a horse.

Every good cat should have interesting characteristics.

We had one that killed a rattlesnake

I saw something online several weeks ago that indicated that if the cat knows that the snake is there, it can react and move out of the way faster than the snake can strike. I mean, how fucking cool is that???

So, if the cat is going to whack you and you move and it misses, it let you get away. Something about food and bitten hands . . . .

🤣 :nana:

Right? It's a good thing they like (some of) us humans!!
Cats are just tiny little tigers......I want a Maine coon or a norwegian forest kitty but they are expensive pure bred and I would rather rescue
Yes - would love, love, love to rescue one of them!!
Alas, having my own house tigers decades ago landed me with a viscous cat allergy. No more living pets for me.
(People have gifted me stuffed animals. Nowhere near the same but I appreciate the sentiment.)
