The Isolated Politics Blurt Thread I: A New Beginning

The Kansas Supreme Court has ruled that voting is not a fundamental right. What's next for voters?

A split Kansas Supreme Court ruling last week found that voting is not a fundamental right listed in the state Constitution's Bill of Rights ...

Everything about that case is moronic. Handwriting analysis is not a reliable way to verify identity, so pretending to match signatures is just a way to throw out votes for the opposition.

The Epoch Times is a go to source for many in the RWCJ.

And this latest revelation involving accusations of corruption and criminality at that rag is the least surprising thing I’ve read in quite a while.

Donald Trump Launches Biggest Absentee Ballot Reversal Yet

Trump announced Tuesday that he and Trump Force 47, the Republican National Committee's grassroots organizing program focused on battleground states and districts, are launching Swamp The Vote USA "to promote the use of absentee and mail ballots and early in-person voting."

"Republicans must win and we will use every appropriate tool to beat the Democrats because they are destroying our country," Trump said in a press release. "Whether you vote absentee, by mail, early in-person or on election day, we are going to protect the vote. We make sure your ballot is secure and your voice is heard."

desantis says trump can vote in florida

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis says he’ll make sure Donald Trump can vote in his home state this November despite his felony convictions.

DeSantis said Friday that he disputes the assessment of some experts who say that Trump’s conviction on 34 felony counts would make him ineligible to cast a ballot in the state.
But, in any case, the Florida governor said he would ensure the state clemency board cleared the way for his former rival for the Republican presidential nomination to vote back home.

“Given the absurd nature of the New York prosecution of Trump, this would be an easy case to qualify for restoration of rights per the Florida Clemency Board, which I chair,” he said on X.
