Monday, April 15th: First Ever Criminal Trial for a Former US President

A single instance of which is a more honorable thing than all of your cheering for antisemitism, hate, and lies.
You will have to cite where I did any of those three allegations, and then you will have to "honor" me if you think I did the third one.

Not my fault you insist on being stupid and blind.

As a lawyer MY JOB is to challenge the facts and evidence in order to seek the truth. Not follow blindly along because someone else tells me to.

You know, like you and the other dipshit are doing.

You're a broken record. Same line over and over. Boring pedant.

If I did that I wouldn't be defending you. Not that I would do so under any circumstances anyway.

Truth or lies?

Did trump cheat on his wife by sleeping with Daniels?
Was trump co-conspirator 1 and did co-conspirator 2 go to jail?
Were there payments to Daniels and for what then if not for the act of sexual favors?
The logical argument you should first make is to convince everyone that 2 was also innocent therefore invalidating anything charged against 1.
NONE of you have done that ever.

As a lawyer, you should be impressed with the masterful display put on by Bragg. Pecker should’ve also been charged, but by flipping that witness and starting with his testimony trump was essentially finished. All other testimony corroborated Pecker’s. Also, high praise to the jury for asking to review Pecker’s testimony - IMO.

Also, and this is for anyone to answer - how would you feel if you were called to do the job of jury duty and the person being the plaintiff, no matter the charges or crime being alleged, continually viewed the proceedings and your time as something to take a daily nap through?

I, personally, despite whatever limitations the judge placed on me deciding my verdict would hold that against the litigant.

You go around and around and around but you STILL cannot tell us what felony. Why is that?

The jury returned a guilty verdict as a direct result of the instructions they were given. Those instructions violated the law you so desperately misinterpret in order to hold to your beliefs.

You’re the one going round and round. I showed you the wording of the felony in the indictment.

Your stupid little game is just that.

The felony charge in the indictment:

Ҥ 175.10 Falsifying business records in the first degree.

A person is guilty of falsifying business records in the first degree
when he commits the crime of falsifying business records in the second
degree, and when his intent to defraud includes an intent to commit
another crime or to aid or conceal the commission thereof.

Falsifying business records in the first degree is a class E felony.”

§ 17-152. Conspiracy to promote or prevent election. Any two or more
persons who conspire to promote or prevent the election of any person to
a public office by unlawful means and which conspiracy is acted upon by
one or more of the parties thereto
, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.

This conspiracy was already charged.

Curious what conspiracy elevated the Falsifying Business Records charge to a felony?

Read about Michael Cohen’s conviction for the conspiracy:

Here is what’s gonna happen.
The New York State appeals process will play out. The convictions will be upheld. IMO.
Now here is where the Righties here are making their mistake - they should embrace the 2 tiered justice system. Yeah, that’s right! Praise it, talk it up because trump is going to then beg for the hacks he installed on the Supreme Court to step in and overturn. And though I think they should not - they just might. And when they do, if they do, it won’t be because of any of the legalese you RW’s are happily spewing. It will be simply to save his ass.

I'm still waiting for someone....ANYONE....to identify a "US Constitutional ground" that would necessitate Supreme Court review of Donald Trump's felony convictions. 34 cut-and-dried misdemeanors of improper accounting that were upgraded to felonies because they were used to further a conspiracy to illegally help Trump get elected.

Nothing "federal" to see here, folks. No Constitutional ground that I can see, no state vs state issue to be refereed.

Someone tell me why and/or what the Supreme Court has to review.

As usual you lie.
Your modus operandi is to deny the truth and ignore evidence even when it walks up and slaps you in the face like a wake-up call. You are on the verge of going over a precipice with your orange cult leader.

Usually, one would throw a rope to help such a person, but oddly enough, I find myself compelled to just watch you wobble and struggle to stay balanced on the edge for as long as you can. It's unavoidable. You will eventually be pulled down when the orange man grabs you, kicking and screaming in an attempt to save himself.

If you want to perpetuate his struggles, give him more of your money. He's not using any of his own money for his endeavors - he's just laughing about it. Be cautious as you continue. Republicans have always said, "It doesn't hurt until you hit rock bottom."

A jury whose livelihoods has probably depended on the Biden family for decades. Hunter gets tried by his peers and Trump gets tried by his enemies.
Isn't Trump a real estate mogul with a vast empire of buildings and thousands of employees in New York? Aren't these individuals reliant on him for their livelihoods? Have you overlooked this in your comparison to Biden?

By the way, Biden doesn't own much real estate or businesses that people in the area depend upon for income in Delaware. So, how does that work? He's just a simple guy, busy leading a nation, not busy trying to fight four indictments with some ninety counts for crimes of a grave nature, e.g., overthrowing a nation or screwing other women thinking his wife wouldn't know. Let's not forget all those civil cases; he owes those women millions of dollars for his ninety seconds of pleasure.

Hey @Rightguide,

I just want to give you credit for one of the rare occasions where you cite a source that isn’t complete garbage.

While The PostMelllineal has a right wing bias it isn’t pure garbage propaganda. Good job not being a total douche for once. 👍

Congratulate him for finding one thing that is credible about Trump? You jest. You can imagine how pumped up his chest is at reading your acknowledgment. :nana:

He thinks the 'crimes' were committed while Trump was President instead of during the summer/fall before the election.

It's really amazing how often the Left turns their fantasizing into purported facts which truth can't shake.
It's admirable that you have clarified the timeframe for Trump's crimes. At least now you acknowledge their existence through this statement.

I believe the commenter referred to the post-activities in which Trump signed the checks while sitting in the Oval Office for repayments to Cohen, but you already knew that. You merely meant to gloat. Or perhaps be Lit's 'SLOAT' on call as Cohen coined the phrase: Stupidest Lawyer of All Time.

It defies logic that derpy is a lawyer.
Ironically as this may sound, I believe it supports the concept that he might be something of a lawyer though possibly a SLOAT. Nearly everything coming out of his mouth is a lie about the case, an attempt to obfuscate facts, deceptive notions, pleading innocence for his client, knowing full well he is as guilty as a man caught with the smoking gun in his hand standing over a corpse in a dark alley.

He'd claim in short order:
  • You have no proof that the man holding the gun fired the shot. He could have just picked it up as evidence for the police so it wouldn't get lost.
  • He wasn't at the crime scene at all since no one saw him there at the time of the alleged murder. He just happened upon the scene, just like the witness. Maybe it was the witness!
  • The witness who heard the shot and came running didn't see the actual crime being committed.
  • The gunpowder residue on his hand came from being at the firing ranger earlier that day.
  • The jury was biased, hating a man owning a gun.
  • The unregistered gun must have belonged to Hunter Biden because.... Look over there for your guilty party!
