Home!!! A bit chilly riding back.


It was a damned productive day - just me. Fixed a thing on the bike, hooked up and moved the trailer, alone, twice. Loaded two engines on it, old heavy fuckers, alone. After moving both of them. And loaded the hoist. I would have loaded the tractor, too, but its battery pooed out, so it's on charge. If it acts up tomorrow, I will buy a new battery - ain't puttin' up with that crap.


On that note, I'm calling it a day. Hostile banana . . . .

And yes Italians and Armenians know how to haggle which is a lost art.

I went home and told my then-husband I had bought a car and he needed to drive me to the dealership to pick it up! I had invited him to go with me, but he declined.

Well, he rocketed up and went in demanding to see the deal I had gotten. He thought they probably overcharged me. They told him they had never had a customer like me.

my wife’s first car was a 67 mustang! She said by the time she was done w it, the floorboards had rotted and she she could drop banana peels and apples cores right thru the hole in the floor! (She’s always eating healthy, even back then…)

H #1 and I had a 67 square back mustang. Unfortunately, I wrecked it.

I find it impossible to keep up with this thread. (I mean that in a good way, honest!)

But here’s an update. Poison ivy isn’t too bad at all. Just a few dots on my arm.

Super stoked that it’s now nudity season! My wife and I are nudists and now it’s warm enough to go outside. This morning Miss Conduct (my wife) made a bet with me: guess the outside temperature and if you get it right, we’ll have sex. If you get it wrong, you have to jump in the pool naked.

I guessed 56°. It was 52° at 630…. Out to the cold pool I went. She watched me from the warm indoors and had a laugh at my “misfortune.”

It was cold but refreshing!
