The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Glad you had a good day, W!

My first car was a crappy Chevy Vega. It was a 60-something. It leaked oil and coolant. When it died and went to Vega hell, I sashayed myself down to the Ford dealership and bought a new 77 Mustang 5 speed. The salesman asked me if I even knew how to drive a stick. I asked him if he thought I came in for lessons. 🤭🤭 I then scared the crap out of him on the test drive. I learned to drive in Italy...
my wife’s first car was a 67 mustang! She said by the time she was done w it, the floorboards had rotted and she she could drop banana peels and apples cores right thru the hole in the floor! (She’s always eating healthy, even back then…)

It, um, has a nice beat to it! I've never heard this one before, either. I bet it would liven up the skating rink! 😃😃
At first I’m like…this has to be a parody? Something SNL would do, but it seems like a legit ‘72 song? Never heard of the signer.

Maybe one of those underground NY dance club things? Who knows. Still, this was still pretty taboo for ‘72…well, Last Tango in Paris came out in ‘72 so….get yer stick-O-butter out and hit the dance floor!

On that note…your Morning Z:

Omg I love that! 🤣🤣

We heard this song on Monday. I was telling my wife we did a punk rock cover of this song, but called it “prostitute.”

Ah the good old days of the 80s….

Love the Who btw. One of my all time favorite bands.

With all due respect to Bonzo and Bruce/Baker, The Who had the best rhythm section in rock, hands down - while Keith was still breathing.

But Wat has been known to come across as a tad opinionated sometimes . . . .

He's pretty fond of Rage's rhythm section, too.

I find it impossible to keep up with this thread. (I mean that in a good way, honest!)

But here’s an update. Poison ivy isn’t too bad at all. Just a few dots on my arm.

Super stoked that it’s now nudity season! My wife and I are nudists and now it’s warm enough to go outside. This morning Miss Conduct (my wife) made a bet with me: guess the outside temperature and if you get it right, we’ll have sex. If you get it wrong, you have to jump in the pool naked.

I guessed 56°. It was 52° at 630…. Out to the cold pool I went. She watched me from the warm indoors and had a laugh at my “misfortune.”

It was cold but refreshing!

Can’t argue that.

I always think of the holy trinity of great Brit bands as the stones, the who and the kinks. (No disrespect to the Beatles, just not a huge fan.)

And yes rage too.
