In my town, the number of outages were so numerous, the city started to consider generating its own electricity and get off the DTE grid. And what happened? Now DTE is proactively replacing old equipment and the number of outages are fewer. Amazing what the threat of competition will do. And the non-partisan oversight board over all utilities in the State have come down hard on all electric and gas companies.

I hope the power gets restored quickly.

good luck. Muscunetcong River Road and Main Street in Hampton were both closed at the stoplight. There were crews working in Hampton, so my fingers are crossed for you.

My buddies place in Glen Gardner just got power back late this morning.

And of course nothing EVER works the first time at motor vehicle. (Shakes head.)
