The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

My neighbors all work for PSE&G. Fathers a diesel mechanic and two of the kids are linemen.

Naturally, as competitors, they see JCP&L as inferior, but it is fact. They do not proactively clean up the lines and trees around them and have some of the most aging infrastructure out there.

Fingers crossed for you… 🤞🤞🤞

Pse&g is by far superior to jcp&l. They are using equipment pse&g stopped using 20 years ago. They are based in Ohio and use this as a cash cow.

Busy morning but think I'm caught up (for now).

I had a little misshap yesterday and I posted it on my other drinking thread.
Retyping is a chore, so I posted it last night, if you read it lmk.

Take good care and heal up quick!!

I'm looking at least two weeks before anything can happen again
Also, welcome to the Temporarily Chaste Club. I'm a charter member. Looks like we may both get our release from the club about the same time.
Challenging at times, but it can be done. (Besides, the reminders from the body are pretty clear. At least mine are. )
And, some of what I read is porn ...
Psst: Ixnay on the ornpay
Unless you're correcting grammar, like me?
(jk - no, really :sneaky:)

Lowest bids = you get what you pay for

that's a concept that apparently goes immediately into the void for many of the decision-makers at my work. Just when they got a clue w/ the offsite record storage contract we shifted and started scanning. 🤷‍♀️
Same with where I work. A lot of parts were outsourced to places that pay minimum wage. When we get the parts they do not fit properly, have defects etc, and a customer doesn’t give a damn about a bad supplier, the customer sees the name plate on the car and blames the car company for shoddy quality, as he or she should. Cost savings that end up destroying the company reputation.
