Monday, April 15th: First Ever Criminal Trial for a Former US President

Shurely shome mishtake!
SHOME?

I didn't resort to name calling. I didn't call him or his family names. I pointed to a medical condition.
No ex-president has ever stolen and refused to return classified documents before, tard.

Wouldn't that be an infringement upon his inalienable Second Amendment rights? Sheesh! You people sure are selective about who deserves rights and who doesn't.
How bout Joe? He used classified document sources in his book. Biden walked out of a SCIF with classified documents as a senator and held them for 40 years, violation of USC 18 1924. Walks because he's too old and has lost cognitive ability.

Title 18 U.S.C. 1924 makes it a federal crime to knowingly remove classified documents or materials from their designated locations without authorization or retain them in an unauthorized area. Simply put, this federal statute deals with the unauthorized removal of classified documents.

No one should take your posts seriously.
You should only be addressed with mocking ridicule.

The violent rhetoric and vitriol are ramping up because they're scared of what they know is coming.
Yep. AOC is melting down as we speak. She predicted God would rain on the Trump Bronx event. Her false prophecy now hangs around her neck like an I'm a Clown" sign.

You talk too much.
I think that you deflect. I think you have a problem with comprehension. I suffered all day yesterday as you twisted your ass in the wind for explanations on your position. You should be mocked and I'm mad at myself for not including in my talkative last post that you're a traitor who supports traitors and seditionists. Ugh, you're right. Way too much words. Traitor.

Then he should be prosecuted for it, as well as Pence and any others who have been found to have swiped documents they weren't entitled to. It seems that the rule of thumb, in terms of actual prosecution, rests upon the "suspect's" willingness to return the documents upon request. Not saying I condone that philosophy, just saying that it seems to exist. You see, we libs believe in equal treatment under the law...

And I've seen many legal experts say that Trump wouldn't have had any problems at all if he had just returned the documents upon request from the National Archives, instead of shipping them around, hiding them, and lying about them. I personally wouldn't have batted an eye if he had complied.

He's got his head up the orange ones ass too much to realize that his post is an actual admission of what trump did was wrong.

That's not how the laws reads. If you rob a bank and agree to give back the money you're going to jail if convicted. Dems don't get convicted, Both Hillary and Biden mishandled classified documents and walked on the supposition of an FBI director or special prosecutor making a decision not to prosecute because no prosecutor would prosecute. Prosecutorial discretion always seems to favor democrats.

Don't even bring up Menendez, he pissed Joe Biden off and is now paying the price. IMHO

Idiot. So much supposition. Traitor.

Lol, I'm trying to limit my words. How was that?

i don't think anyone would be surprised that i feel the charges thoroughly proven and the result i would hope for in this trial; realistically, though, i'd not be surprised to see it pan out as the misdemeanor verdict.

what kind of sentence comes with that? non-custodial but fines?

What I'm about to type would be considered freaking stoooopid in another space and time but really needs to be asked when dealing with trump supporters whenever they bring up crap like this:

If Menedez pissed off a senile Joe Biden then why did Biden just not kill him?

What you're about to type doesn't concern me in the least. Move on chatterbox.

Traitor. Your post was dumb, as most of them are. It was a wild, broad brushed, wild take on democrats and how the justice system works.
If you're gonna be here spewing crap then I'm gonna continue to be here calling it crap.

Jesus, your reading comprehension skills are virtually nil. I didn't say how the law was written, I commented on how it apparently has been enforced in the past. I also said I didn't necessarily condone that prosecution philosophy. Which word did you not understand?

As for whether or not Democrats have historically received more favorable treatment, I'm going to need a citation for your claim.

I didn't bring him up. But since you mentioned him, I DID start a thread about his situation, including my opinion that he should have been prosecuted and removed a long time ago...

4 major indictments against Trump, are you blind.

Name me one democrat that has gone through an investigation (Mueller investigation) 2 impeachments, 4 major sham indictments a sham Fraud case and a sexual assault case from 30 years ago.

Prosecutorial discretion favors democrats was my point.

Credit to trump. Most only get the luxury of one indictment.

The FBI followed standard operating procedures;
There is no standard operating procedure in this case. It's never happened before. The FBI itself objected to doing the raid and their alternative plans were rejected by the Biden DOJ who was more interested in interfering with the election and harming the Trump family. The case itself could very well be dismissed based on selective prosecution and other reasons.

A warrant is a warrant. They don't change the procedures. If Biden's search required one, force would also be included.

Joe Biden Isn’t Going to Like What the Data Tells Us About Trump’s Manhattan Trial.

Democrats hoping to sink former President Donald Trump‘s reelection efforts via Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg‘s lawfare ‘hush money‘ trial will be disappointed. A Quinnipiac University national poll conducted last week reveals that half of voters do not think Trump did anything illegal. Furthermore, a significant majority of voters said that the trial’s outcome would make no difference in their decision on election day.
The poll shows that 29 percent of voters think Trump did something unethical but not illegal, and another 21 percent say they think Trump did nothing wrong. Less than half of voters — 46 percent — believe Trump did something illegal. The 46 percent of voters who think Trump did something illegal is driven largely by Democrats. When broken down by voter registration, 85 percent of Democrats think Trump broke the law compared to just 9 percent of Republicans and 44 percent of independents. A majority of independents — 53 percent — do not think Trump broke the law.

Convictions don't care about polls.

Or as MAGA likes to say, facts don't care about your feelings.
