The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Well it’s late night and probably beddy byes for most of you but here the sun is not yet up on a grey Scots day. I am recovering after our day eight hour drive back from the south. Good to see my kids and cuddle my daughter on her 40th and my son on his 42nd birthday.

Glad to be back in Scotland though away from people, traffic, noise and the stress of day to day urban living.

When I wake to this where else would I want to be other than in the arms of a loved one!
Hell yeah, brother!

Fantastic!!

Because I was asked and forgot to answer:

I'm reading my latest copy of Easyriders, a bike/biker mag. I read it for the bikes. I'm also reading Blues for Cannibals by Charles Bowman. Essays/commentary, that kind of thing. And I need to pick back up and finish Liddell-Hart's Scipio Africanus.
You read easyrider for the articles, right?? 😂

(Unfortunately or fortunately, I know you and you probably do!)

JCP&L are well known liars. (I have a story but I’ll save space and forgo the agita.

Should be no surprise. I haven’t read through the rest of the thread yet, but most importantly, i hope you got your power back….
Went out yesterday morning at 9am. Still nobody came. They stink as a power company. Still using shotgun fuses on poles. Which trip if you blink your eyes.. 👀

I read what happened and that must have hurt. Reading about gave me sympathy pain. Take the meds and knock yourself out. And do not look at any naked women.
Having diabetes diminishes "swelling" but I'll read more and Mrs Rj makes sure I use the medicated cream to keep it from drying out. And yes, it still hurts. I'm looking at least two weeks before anything can happen again. The stitches will dissolve, thank god!
