Home from work. It was quite productive for Wat today. All those people I've been trying to catch since Monday of last week finally called back. Today. Two came to see me. The bosses were surprised. Shit, I can't hunt people down and wring their pencil necks for not calling me back.


I think that leftover s'ghetti is what's for supper.

Yes, ma'am, they do. I have had several who stick with me because they were outstanding company. Better than a lot of people I have had the misfortune of knowing.

If I had to reduce to one cat, I think that she would be it. She travels with me. She rides on my shoulders. She has an amazing stare. She's cuddly and sociable. She follows me around and leads the way often. Yet I know this would never happen unless it does one day because she outlives all the rest of them.

Got some decent rain (and a bit of thunder/lightening) tonight. Storms swept through and dropped the temp almost 10 degrees - good sleeping weather.

Any scary weather stayed away from my area. #thankful

It was rainy and coolish here, also. Temps were in the low 50s. Definitely going to need some extra covering tonight.

Yes they do. For me it’s my dogs. I can remember every single one of them and there has been a lot. I currently have five. Three working, one in training and one retired. They live such a relatively short time

So true, G! I remember all of my gorgeous girls and my one goofy boy! They slide in and steal your heart! Then take it with them when they leave.

I can’t remember if. If I have really talked about my dogs on here. I train gundogs and during the season work them on one of the UK, if not European, most prestigious sporting estates. We do three days a week September through January with a few grouse days in August if there is enough about to shoot. These are my boys out last August. It was a particularly beautiful year for heather.

That is on the Queensbury Estate in Dumfries and Galloway. I think that was taken on Queensbury itself, the highest hill on the estate. It’s magical up there in high summer but bloody hard work as neither I or the dogs are “hill fit” at that point.

Get out there and walk those hills, G!

Yes'm, it was. We may be hitting a stride here. Well, we're crawling and we should be running, but it's something, and it's a start. I kind of knew that this was gonna be f*cked up, and it is. I think I've just gotten to the point of acceptance.
