Technically, it's not mine. It's sort of on permanent loan from a friend. But I told him that my son's best friend was in dire need of a replacement horn before tomorrow night's band concert after one of the springs on hers broke, and I was able to save the day with his french horn. He was delighted.That is super cool, you even have a spare french horn….

I personally don’t have the lungs for any wind instruments. I have tried, and failed at such endeavors.
But… my fingers? They are long and very dexterous! Piano? Yeppers! Guitar? Yeppers! Electric bass? Yeppers (I prefer 5 string)… and my favorite, even though I am not as skilled there… the mighty… Hammond B3.
I have been blessed with the skills to bring a few back to life… and to me, it was very fulfilling (even though it wasn’t sex).

I could never play a wind instrument either. Like besides the recorder, kazoo, and harmonica. And aside from the kazoo, I can play one song on the recorder (three blind mice) and one song on the harmonica (oh Susannah) but that requires improv because I suspect the harmonica I possess is in the wrong keyI personally don’t have the lungs for any wind instruments. I’m tired of feeling no bueno. I can’t even keep up here. Can I just be the shenanigang pet cat for a while? You feed me. I curl up in the corner and nap. Occasionally, I may curl up with you and/or consent to being petted. I will definitely wake you in the middle of the night by biting and/or scratching, but where and how hard will always be a surprise. Deal?
