Yes, that’s the question the prosecution hasn’t answered. We don’t know what the crime is that Trump allegedly attempted to commit or cover up.

It's an INDICTMENT, as in: "a formal written statement framed by a prosecuting authority and found by a jury (such as a grand jury) charging a person with an offense" (From merriam-wberster.com)No crime specified in your source and in fact it states nothing illegal happened.
