It's almost like people don't respect rules and don't think sites have the rights to take action. Years back, Photobucket was a popular image hosting site for boards like this. They got tired of being abused by people violating their rules and took steps to stop hotlinking. They even put a large and non-removeable watermark on their hosted images for non-premium (paying) members. Image host violators rebelled and went to other sites, some of which no longer exist.

Somewhere along the line, Tumblr became a favorite site for them to abuse. A couple of years back, they had enough and started blocking hotlinking and adult images, both of which were always against their rules. Many of the image host violators here ended up at this re-blog site that has become popular until a few days ago. Now it seems they have taken action and we have the same people scrambling to find a new place to abuse.


Maybe just wake up and stop abusing image host sites and rules? Maybe just stop posting and reposting and reposting images you don't have the legal rights to? Just because you found it out there on the web and moved it to another hosting site doesn't mean you own the image or the rights.

Many of you have had your rights limited here and can no longer upload attachments, yet you continue to violate the rules here. Until you find your self unable to even log in here as quite a few prolific image thieves have recently found. Some of their Lit accounts have just been disabled, while others have been deleted entirely along with all of their stolen images.


You seem to be trying really hard to get Lit to stop allowing images at all.

Most of the sites that these images come from are not from the original copyrighted pay to view site, they have been bought / hacked / stolen from the original sites, which does not make them public domain. i.e. it is illegal to post them on Literotica.
