I like Tim Hortons. I think they’re migrating south to the US.Lol
Here in Ontario Canada it’s very similar except that we have Tim Hortons coffee shops everywhere
Tim’s is owned by a Brazilian conglomerate I believe, Wendy’s and another chain are part of that. That might be why it’s migrating south. Honestly they’re coffee is meh, I prefer McD if I am going to have fast food coffee. Fun fact, McD (here at least it’s the case) is using Tim Hortons previous coffee beans, and it’s way better than what Tim’s changed to nowI like Tim Hortons. I think they’re migrating south to the US.
You’re in a lovely mood, I love it
There's no "ewww" emoji!Don’t listen to these heathens who rarely wander south of the Mason-Dixon to eat good food!. Okra is used in everything from Low Country Charleston style cooking to Cajun Louisiana and everything in between. It’s a staple dish on southern tables.
Now, I love hominy!Hominy is not on top of my list to eat either.
I like grits and only eat them savory. Unless they're fried. You make the grits, pour them into a loaf pan and put in the fridge to harden. The next morning, slice it like bread and fry in a pan. Butter and syrup over them like pancakes. Yummy!Have never had authentic gumbo - mostly b/c I don't care for sausage or shellfish. But had okra in some gumbo-like chicken soup before I had to give up tomatoes. Not bad.
Tried grits as an adult. Sibling wedding south of Mason-Dixon. It was on the breakfast buffet. Delish - I still make them myself occasionally. I eat mine savory, my SIL likes hers sweet. Have not tried hominy though.
Fried green tomato was delicious. At the same wedding as the grits. Was the only time I actually liked and finished a piece of fried chicken, too.
You need to patent this, @enbiji! I think it would be a hot seller!Does it have a little dildo in the middle that moves up and down with the crankshaft?
Asking for a friend.
I get rubber bands from asparagus. The stores always have at least two around each bunch. I save them in a little ziplock bag in a drawer.Does anyone have a paper route?
I was considering if I should continue scavenging for rubber bands or plop down some silver.
Then it occurred to me if I knew someone with a paper route I’d be on easy street.
When I was a kid they were everywhere but I haven’t seen one in a long time delivering the Daily Planet.
An acquired taste, G?There has been so much talk on here of exotic food I thought I would share the food of kings... “Bury Black Pudding”, boiled and eaten with butter, salt and good bread….just pigs blood, fat and a little fine grain!
Lovely
I love asparagus! I could eat it every day!I get fed up of smoked trout and asparagus at this time of year
