As an aside, I'm watching the whole ESG, DEI, house of cards crumble. No remorse on my part but I can't help but think that the die hard proponents of those insane policies are not going to do quietly. There's some big money behind the NGO's that are paying the provocateurs to cause mischief. The question is how much mischief (violence) are they going to cause leading up to the election? The democrats are going to do their best to keep a lid on it but I wonder how successful they're going to be? It's going to be a long summer.

I'd be pleasantly surprised if it were dull. Where I suspect anything will happen is in the deep blue cities where the politicians and legal systems will tolerate their behavior. I believe that if it does blow up in those locals it will backfire on them.

A little bit of chaos is entertaining. Then again, you have to be watching for it.

I'm thinking that I'm not anywhere that'll erupt.

Well, there is that. Just be prepared of it comes to you, desperate people do desperate things.

I watch the people on this forum that are "progressives." They get their talking points from the DNC and the MSM. They don't seem to realize that the population is getting it's news and opinions elsewhere. And by elsewhere I don't mean FOX, I don't bother to watch FOX either. It's coming from podcasts and other long form presentations. Media formats that they can't silence. And it's to those alternative outlets that the independents are going for information. The "progressives" have no counter to the Peterson's, the Hanson's, or even the Hodge brothers.

A day or 3 ago, I clicked on something that caught my eye and was tooken to the HuffPo site. Read the blurb and then got shellacked for money. "Democracy as we know it is in peril." "Save the country." I know we get a little engaged in puffery from time to time, but I think we're all pretty certain that the country won't go up in flames quite yet.

And if it does, I have a pretty good idea who(m) to shoot . . . .

Amen, Bro, but what are we gonna do? The Democrats are the only grown-ups left in government that are trying to keep a lid on violence.

And wait until the next school year starts and Deplorables start complaining about black history making them feel "uncomfortable" and violating their safe space. And jeezus-h-christ, Keri Lake is already saying the next election is rigged, so people better wear a Glock to political events. And wait 'til the OrangeMan joins in that chorus with whatever phony militia group he summons to his side this time.

But thank God for the Democrats at least trying to keep a lid on violence within their party and within America as a whole. Thanks for the nod of recognition, Bro.

There's what you say and what you do and I know who the threat to democracy is. Don't piss on my back and tell me it's raining.

Yeah, but you'll be able to get that gunshot wound to your foot treated at any urgent care facility. They are all fully trained these days.

I like Fletcher's delivery of that line a lot.

There's a lot of piss goin' on.

Speaking of, we have a couple of puss-posters here who collectively couldn't pour piss out of a boot without drowning each other.

I'd be happy to add a few bladders-full to it . . . .

The good news is that appears they won't need your bladder to drown themselves. They're doing a fine job all on their own. When your enemy is busily destroying themselves, don't interrupt. Don't even offer to help. Just pop some corn, sit back and watch.

I'm afraid that if'n ya tried to beat some sense into one of them, that you'd kill him and he'd be just as st000pid as ever and dead, too. And then there' might be charges.

Unless he could be gotten to the pig waller quickly enough.

So many claimed victories . . . .

:ROFLMAO: :nana:

Let's see them back it up. Their credo is destruction without a plan forward. That's not a credo, it's a two year old's temper tantrum.
