No that’s not how it works. You go from generalizable to specialized. There’s no fundamental laws of chemistry that aren’t tied back to the Laws of Thermondynamics or Maxwell’s equations, or Schrodinger’s law. It’s all physics.

I just started Only Murders in the Building. Steve Martin and Martin Short are sooooo good in it. It is nice to see Martin playing back to his earlier, non-"befuddled father" roles. Selena Gomez...I am early on (s1e3), so I am not sure if the emotional range within her acting skills just runs from A to B, to quote Dorothy Parker, or if it just how the character is written. Also, she sounds like she is reading off cue cards. But I am willing to forgive a lot for Martin and Short. And Martin Short.

Awesome show indeed! Martin and Short and wonderful and hilarious together. Gomez actually holds her own with them. She has more stuff to do as it goes along.

I just finished Ranking of Kings. Avoided it for ages due to the art style, but, shame on me for being so shallow... I haven't cried this much since I first saw Up! With a main character who's deaf and mute, this was truly one unique and incredible show.

The thing is I go on these wild tangents. I watched a movie called Abigail on Saturday on my ex's recommendation. I had no idea what it was going to be about.

Well, now I'm on this whole "I need to watch all movies in the Universal Monsters universe" and those movies started in 1931 lol

Time enjoyed is not time wasted. If you enjoy movies and tv then that's a perfectly wonderful life! I had my adventures in my 20s and now I just enjoy the stillness of a quiet life
