The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Interesting. I'm 43/48 of the continentals. The outliers will have to wait, although one of those Alaskan cruise things looks nice. The kids did one last year. They get around more than I do, but it's not like I sit at home.

Word magnets are fun to make awkward phrasings and funny images, too. I may have to take more pictures of the fridge.

Happy Saturday!!! First cup going down.
We did a family cruise to Alaska for my mom's 80th birthday. It was a fun trip; I highly recommend it! 🚢 🛳

I haven't peeked into here in a few days so it's like I'm behind close to double digit pages 🤣 well I was gonna reply back to the " who wants afternoon coffee " post but realized it was days ago so I didn't bother haaaaa!!??

A glorious Saturday morning here with sun up, cool breeze and birds a chirping. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far and please do behave or hmmmmm misbehave if you prefer 😜

Morning! Full day on tap.

Finishing up some masonry work on our pool.

Weed whacking, rounding a large tree that came down and weeding the garden.

Then bring my tractor up from the farm to move some giant stumps.

Stupidly I have not really done any maintenance on my lawn tractor, my tractor or my push mower, so I’m sharpening blades, and changing oil/filters.
In all three.

On the plus side, we had an amazing morning of sex. We move long, drawn out sessions, and we both got what we needed.
Sounds like a perfect morning! 🥰❤️🥰

More is better when it comes to equipment.

It’s always better to have to more than you need than be stuck with not enuf when you need it.

(Not sure if that made any sense)

Actually, it makes perfect sense. Therefore, you should be (very) afraid. There's also an older International in the area for sale, but it has a forklift arrangement instead of a loader bucket, and the bucket would have much more utility. Besides, you can get/make,adapt forks to a bucket if you need the things. And a hay fork, if we ever start buying rolls.

Happy Sunday!!! We have rain this morning. I could hear it a bit during the night. So I reckon that it'll be a soggy slog to the grocery store this morning. Meh, I was wet yesterday with my last shower, so I suspect that I'll live through it all. Making a list. It's a good day to cook. Tuna casserole will be the travel meal this week.

We got a ton done today.

Went to bank, weed whacked, Sharpened my chainsaw chain and then
cut up a huge branch that came down - stacked up the wood.

Drove down to farm and got the tractor.
drove it to our house and picked up a MONSTER stump that’s been in our lawn for a year. Weighed at least 1500 lbs. moved a few more huge stumps over.

brought log splitter over to where the logs are for this week.

THEN we weeded the garden.

What a day!
Busy day! That is a big stump! 😳

These are beautiful, Wat! 😍

Thank you!!! I think that the wood has good grain. The one with the clear grain and the natural (and it ain't easy to tell) finish has nice grain contrast. Stocks are a good size for refinishing because they're small and easy to handle.

I ordered a WW2 rifle on Friday night. So there's my next woodwork project on the way.

Rained last night and now thick fog so a bit damp. I need to get some fresh fruit and vegs this morning. I am in a good and industrious mood today. Want to get things done.

🤗 Lovely advice, B2

Always felt bad for my brothers. I got off easy with kitchen and/or bathroom cleaning. They got the big stuff like cleaning gutters.

Am I the only one who things Red Bull tastes like liquid Pixie Stix? 🤢

Glad you found some good finds. I like a good sale, too. But I'm tired just thinking of a 12-hour day of any kind of shopping!
I used to do recreational shopping then retail therapy shopping. Now, the less shopping I do, the better!

I love tuna casserole! 😋 😋

I'm feeling a bit perkier these days. I think the added exercise that I get on my new job is helpful, too. I seem to have a bit more wind. Maybe it's my imagination. There will be cooking and some cleaning today.

Hope you had a good sleep, Wat!

Ethyl the big girl cat got in some good snoring this morning. It's funny to listen to in that half-awake state in the deciding to get up time. She's a bit . . . possessive.
