Okay kids… I am likely to be sentenced to the horrible reality of working in an office with f-ing headphones. I do not want my 10,000+ collection of tunes on my phone. I could put them on a thumb drive, but don’t really want them on my work computer.

What is the device to allow me to be able to listen to my music library through my good headphones?

Do those still exist? And don't they require using some crazy apple format for the music? I already have a huge library of wav and mp3 files - and I have the CD's for all of them.

If your company will allow it, you'd probably be best off using an SSD and plugging it in to your computer and connecting your headphones.

The company will allow it, but I don't want to do that. Every time some work event happens on the PC, it comes through my headphones - I don't want that.

With a library that big, you need a dedicated storage device. You could plug it into a tablet or a laptop and play it that way, but you'll have to set it up and take it home each day.

Depends on the compression and quality. But 15k is probably 60 gb, unless it's FLAC, then it could double.

I’m not actually sure on the song count, but it is over 25GB currently on my drive. I know there is stuff missing (which makes no sense) but stuff that used to be there is no longer there.

I ordered a SanDisc thing… hopefully it will do what I need.
