When you make a spicy soup with a fuckton of chili and other stuff in it, it just tastes even nicer after being refrigerated then warmed up again.

Whenever I think of Patti Smith I just feel sorry for the people who aren't old enough to have discovered her when she was in full flow, absolutely showing the world how to be not conventional, full of piss (in a river) and vinegar. She got lumped in with punk but like Tom Verlaine she was already way beyond that.

Sorry to hear that. Me too, if it helps! Had a work day where I have tried so hard to try and do the right thing, but my colleagues and I have been flat out blocked from resolving the client’s issue by the executive. Never been so monumentally furious about upper management decision making.

Going to go sulk with a glass of wine and hope some writing occurs to cheer me up!
