So I just finished an urban fantasy series, six books. Picked them all up for a $1.50, so I had low expectations. What caught my eye was the title for the second was Unquiet Dreams. Anyway, they were fine, not fantastic, but kept my attention. A good amount of Celtic mythology, which is my jam. Anyway, 4/5th of the way through the last book they pulled the trigger on a joke, based on Queen Maeve from Táin Bó Cúailnge, that the author set up in book one. I laughed so hard I had to set the book down and just stare at it in wonder for a moment.
