Sex & Shenanigans

Hmm. Well ok then lol.

I still don't get it.
Sorry, first movie, at the Council of Elrond. Aaragorn (a sexy guy) swears to lead Frodo to Mordor, and pledges his sword. Legolas (also a sexy guy) pledges his bow. Then Gimli (maybe sexy, if you like them short and bearded) takes his turn:

And now you know the rest of the story.

This is just for those 2, right? I mean I still get boobs, right?
RIGHT?
Ummm, what if you don't have a butt? AFAF
My price is pretty firmly set, butt for boobs. I could potentially allow for a pinch hitter but that would require multiple butts. I hope you have strong negotiating skills to convince the other fellas.

I still don't get what that has to do with tomatoes and mushrooms. But maybe I'm being literal and it's not that deep. Or funny, apparently.
Not that deep, nor funny. After the movies it became a joke that after two things are listed, the third was "and my ax!"

Less a Lit joke, more a Reddit joke. We are a lowball crowed there.

No, now that you've explained it, it makes sense. Lol. I'm just glad I understand it now. 🤭

Oh...okay.... and it's not spelled "axe"? Or did I miss that part too?

Something actually funny about Gimli though is that his actor, John Rhys Davies, was the tallest one on set. Dude's like 185 or 190cm.

I know! It worked perfectly, as the guys playing the hobbits were all the perfect height with him to set up the false perspective shots.

I love John Rhys Davies.
