Day 22: A song with a five word title

We were (well, @Amanda330 and I were) just talking about this song the other day. I love Jesse Mueller’s performance of this in Waitress but couldn’t really find a good video of it from the Broadway show. So here it is from Sara Bareilles, who wrote the song and also performs it beautifully.

So glad you posted this! I still haven't decided what I'm going to post but this song is near and dear to my heart. ❤️

Day 22: A song with a 5 word title
A Little Fall of Rain - Les Miserables
This song has a special place in my heart. It's from one of my favorite musicals... I grew up listening to it and it makes me think of my dad and the love of music he's inspired in my life.

Day 22: A song with a five word title

I'm not sure... what to think of this song.
On the one hand, the composition is fantastic and Joey DiMaios bass riffs are out of this world (right, @UnquietDreams?).
On the other hand, it takes an absolutely horrific tragedy and turns it into... entertainment?
I'm not sure... why they wrote this song. It wasn't necessary.
But, god damn it, it's incredible.

Oh, fuck. I goddamned cry every fucking time I hear this song. Every fucking time.

I have to go find a handkerchief now.
