Anyone from the UK?

Yes and in her short time in the hot seat screwed my pension! Saw her on tv trying to justify her mismanagement and blame everyone else including Bank of England. Nothing amusing about it in my eyes. Grrrr!

Sorry that’s cleared the sinuses….anyone for a chocolate biccy … still some left.
The trouble with Tories is most of the time they have no principles and don't really believe in anything but money, but then when they suddenly do get all ideological they're even worse and start actively fucking shit up instead of just leaving it to fuck itself up.

The last election was the first I didn't vote for Tories, I have no idea who to vote for next time around!

Whichever candidate in your local area is best placed to beat the conservative :)
Hate to say it but Reform stealing enough votes off them to make them lose safe seats, but not enough to win it over Labour or LDs looks like a perfect outcome to me. I really want them to know they've had their arses handed to them this election, as a vote of resounding no-confidence in the utter clusterfuck they've made of the last 14 years.

Given where some Conservatives are currently deciding to spend their time giving speeches I think that’s the more likely home of the fascist right now!
Hmm. True! And, when you look at the crazies in and around the cabinet. It's disappointing too that we don't have a strong opposition.

I'm unfortunately in a blue area. I'll never vote for the bastards but the wealthy landowners always do
Exactlt the same in my constituency in North Yorks; one of safest seats in the country. If they lose this one it'll be a bloodbath for them

Also, now Labour have moved right back to the soft centre, it's about time they kissed and made up with the LDs and either joined up or at least show interest in a coalition if things turn out closer than expected. You can't get a sheet of paper between them ideologically now anyway.

I just despair at the complete lack of any integrity or honour or any true desire to serve.... power and only power seems to be the end game for most politicians.
Whatever happened to the "servant leader" model???
They're populist and that's the problem we have these days. It's all about celebrity.

That's why we need to pay them more, get intelligent people into office, ones who aren't bothered about being popular and only care about moving the country and economy forward.

I cannot wait for the general election. I fully intend to help the local grassroots labour campaign in my area. We have a really good MP, Rupa Huq, and I am voting for the MP not the party at large.

That doesn’t mean of course that I am happy with them Labour Party right now - I’m not. But in my view (not shared by everyone, I accept) getting Labour into government represents the best opportunity for a positive change.

I fully expect the first two years to be more of the same, but after that I think the campaigns and lobbying from the lefter fringes will win over at last.

I think Gaza has really put it into perspective that Labour’s role in the proceedings was flawed. I could not believe Keir Starmer justified the shutting off of water supplies last November. An awful decision on his part.

Right, back to work! No more politics! I promise.

Now that most of the government are younger than me I feel totally entitled to blame it on the feckless youth of today.
