The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Use very good oil and very good filters. I use Mobil 1 full synthetic and K&N filters. In everything. Even the lawn mower.

Oil is way cheaper than steel.
I take it to the dealership. We got lifetime lube, oil, & filter when we bought the truck. They take good care of us. The owner's parents lived across the street from us. He still owns the house...

Beautiful day today.....pups playing in the back yard. I am staying inside though. I am feeling tired with an upset tummy..... I need to get my shir together and start eating right and lose some of the weight I have gained..... I am disgusted with my weakness and lack of self control.....sigh.... and life is hard today
Awww! Be nice to yourself, MissK! We all have our days... 🫂🥰🫂

Whenever I hear someone name a pet Fred, I think of this wonderful dog (and movie).

Burt Reynolds and Cletus Snow (Jerry Reef) in smoky and the bandit.

God, my dad loved that movie. And The Blues Brothers too.

Great memories. Saw Smokey and Yhe Bandit at the Strand Teater in Somerville NJ for ¢77. They ran second run movies there for a discount.

Everyone raised hell when they raised their price to ¢88
I loved that movie, too!

Tough days come around in our lives so we can enjoy the good days even more!!

I lost about 40lbs plus doing IF though I took it to another level where I wasn't doing 16/8 fasting but like days fasting 😳

Longest time I dirty fasted was a little.more than 125 hours of just basically water and coffee. I know, I know not for everyone but I did lose the weight and that freaking BMI scale said I was no longer " obese " 🙄

Before you out it in your mouth ask yourself " is it worth it " and majority of the times I answered no. The way I did IF I didn't have to worry about calorie counting since I had nothing to count haaaa!! Have a better day!
That's a lot of days without eating. The thing is, if you're active and you don't give your body some protein, it will end up cannibalizing your muscles for it. Next time you do this, try some protein water. Very few calories but you get hydration and protein!

My mom (who is 95) always wanted a Stanley steamer.

Stanley's are sneaky. When I was a kid, I was almost run over by one at a car show. They don't make any noise as they roll along except for the occasional hiss.

I think that Abner Doble built a better steam car, at least according to the article I read years ago. Leno has one, I think.

Up early again so Good Morning early risers. Rain and storms are coming today then cooler.

My son and I watched Dune 2 in a near empty theater yesterday afternoon. Wow on the movie - very well done. Sad that the movie theater is so empty- wonder how it will stay in business.

Last night, I had a drink with a bunch of old coworkers. We used to work this union job together. We met at a really divey joint called the royal near us.

Bikers, greasers, freaks, old men (I’m one of em too). Caught up with everyone, had some laughs and some dinner and drinks. Added bonus, it was Tuesday night trivia night. Our team, the Dipshitz, came in last!

There are some pretty serious and competitive trivia players there!

Back to work today… the day job…

It is good to catch up with old coworkers. We spend so much of our life with them. Its good when you can laugh together.

I agree. Work is work.

But I tend to get to know people at work and friendships and do fun things.

Well, back to my real job today…back to the grind… off to the salt mines… here we go again…

One my favorite videos. 👇

One of yours, Horatio? It's beautiful! 😍😍
Not mine unfortunately but one can dream. The tree I’m trying to save is a good facsimile of that one but It needs some love. Actually talked to an expert in California yesterday about soil combinations for my area and I hope that will solve my problem. The real problem is I have been lazy about upkeep….the shame…the shame…

I’ll post some pics when I get the porch in order and the plants repotted.

Off to work after a nice vacation. Trying to pump myself up…and now, your morning Zen:

Greetings gang, I’m just catching up on the thread, I’ve been out of commission for over a week with walking pneumonia. Good times!

So bartender how about a lemon tea 😛

It did help me avoid having to do some annoying clean up in the garage, but also made me miss playing golf so….

There are some awesome car buffs here on this thread. Great photos
