The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

I am doing just that, thanks! I go to the gym twice a week, a 45 minute trip each way. I also learned the hars way. My car wasn't driven for about 6 weeks last year. It needed a new battery; I tried to charge the OKs one but it wouldn't hold a charge. I had to have it towed from my house to the dealership for the battery. None of the battery places around here would install one as it's a hybrid. 😤

Car batteries any more are fer $hit. Same for motorcycles. There are some good ones out there. The battery on my bikes have both crapped out. I had The Guy change the one on the little bike when it was in. He didn't tell me what brand he uses, but I haven't trickle-charged it at all and it doesn't miss a beat, and the bike sits for 2-3 weeks sometimes.

Also, if you're not driving your car very far each year, get the oil changed regardless. Condensation. THat's a by-product of combustion and water can and will collect in your crankcase. Odds are, on your 45 minute trip, the oil gets hot enough to boil out any water. But like on my old car where it does get driven and it runs at a cooler temperature than modern cars (ethanol-based anti-freeze settings), it's best to get the water out of the system.

Wife has a toy VW I bought her almost 20 yrs ago. It was her around town grocery getter until we had to get a little bigger touring car for an expanding family. It sat and all the evil you mentioned happened minus the mice (brother in laws toy BMW though fell prey to mice! ) and the flat spots. Drive those vehicles sports fans! My mechanic said 30 good solid miles a week will keep them in top shape. That’s 30m of continuous driving, not stopping and shutting it down at the store…

I will never, ever, go without a truck. They may even bury me in mine sitting in the drivers seat with my cold fingers wrapped around the steering wheel! And one arm on the door with the window rolled down! 🤣
I've had lots of people ask me to sell my truck to them. Not going to happen. Besides, my nephew has already called dibs on it!

She says it does not get old. This is definitely not the first time I’ve done this trick.

Typically, she just chops it up and mixes it in her bowl. But every once in a while, she’ll deep throat it or tongue it to give me a thrill.

It still makes her smile and laugh.

Humor!! The glue that keeps this shit show together!!
You two sound like a good time! 😅🤣😅

So it was 1525 for 381 hanging weight so 4$ per lb. For processing i attached a pic. So will be about 400 for processing. I get stecks single packed 20$extra. It is a little more this year but still cheaper than stores and the meat is sooooo good. This rancher always has meat ready and a 2 places for butchering, which can be a struggle around here.
Do you have a freezer to keep it all in? Or do they provide a locker for you?

......just something I was listening to and thought I would share it with any other Floyd's fans. What makes this interesting is that Roger was present reuniting all original members before the passing of Richard, and at the end of the sax solo on "Money"........the camera looks overtop the stage at the four stacks of the Battersea Power station, which of course was the cover for "Animal's"
I love Pink Floyd! Have you guys heard this one?

Somebody please tell me WHY grapefruit doesn't agree with my medications
Just spent the last three hours in the ER with allergic reactions...
Grapefruit can cause a reduction in enzymes needed to break down meds. It can lead to a higher than normal blood level of the medication on your system. Ideally, a pharmacist would review your meds and counsel you on this.

I'm really sorry it didn't happen for you. I hope they took a hard look at all your meds and gave you the education you need.

Are you OK today? 🫂🫂

I do need to get the truck in for an oil change. It also needs the air bags replace as they're part of the recall. Another thing to add to the to-do list..

Had to jump in on the Pink Floyd bandwagon as I’ve been a longtime fan! I had Meddle and loved that album. Always heard about the video from Pompeii but only recently saw the video a few years ago. Echo’s really showcases the bands strengths, Dave and Ricks harmonious vocals, and Nick’s fantastic drumming. A glimpse of what was to come over the next three albums.

This says it’s remastered from ‘74 but the Live at Pompeii session was from ‘72 so maybe a UToob mistake? The magic happens for me at 5:55 and again at the 8:00 mark…for my money one of he best grooves ever recorded form this band or any other!
