Diet Coke was my go to afternoon drink from the vending machine I was working. Since then, I only drink it on the rare occasions when I succumb to my craving for a McDonalds quarter pounder with cheese and large order of fries. The Diet Coke helps me rationalize the high fat, high calorie, high sodium yet totally orgasmic meal.

You know, it's a scientific fact that the diet coke cancels out the calories in anything eaten with it!

My azaleas are starting to bloom, the lilies are coming up. I bought enough fuchsia starts to fill 10 hanging baskets today! And got the dirt for free!

I talked to a man yesterday about buying this house. I did tell him that my big azaleas don't transfer - I'm taking them with me. George Tabers - they can be huge. I love those things and I want to layer them once they get settled in their new location and try to root more of them.

Peer reviewed studies have shown that if you wash McDonalds cheese burgers, shakes, and fries down with bourbon it burns the fat and calories. Or you can play it safe and stick to In-N-Out burgers. Those are pretty good and the onions are fresh.

I loved In-N-Out! We don't have one here (yet!) but I have read one is coming.

I had a lot of rhododendrons at my old farm house. When I got married and we built our house, H dug up quite a few of the rhodies to plant here. They're HUGE now!
