Samesies, I was barely 23. Now the kids are almost all out of the house, while I have friends my age who have toddlers I had energy for that in my 20's, not so much anymore

On the flip side, I can’t imagine having had kids that young . Like I’m sure I was capable but I was having way to much fun flirting in bars during that time. But now I have toddlers and a bad back soooo

To my perspective, all the hot ladies seem to be around 40... and I won't name names...

I've told this before, but I in college there was a girl who loved the sound of French, but didn't speak it. I took a year of junior high French, and some of it stuck, and I would say complete nonsense or basic phrases. (I will also admit I spoke to her in Middle English, and she didn't know the difference. Thank you, Geoffrey Chaucer!) The first night I sealed the deal, as it were, I looked her deep into her eyes, brushed her hair back from her face, and slowly, gently said, "Essence sans plomb seulement, s'il vous plait."

Which is "unleaded fuel only, if you please." I picked that up pumping gas in high school.

Edited to add that I'd be the only woman lying about being older than I really was. Women don't lie about that. Now, I may forever claim to be 39 but that's because it's a smaller number. Lol
