Mixed day, boring Trustees meeting, followed by a trip to the vet for the annual jag for one of the dogs followed with a trip to buy another car. Largely been wet so a day for inside stuff.

@STrent I called out a racist thread in the politics board yesterday. They gave me short shrift. So took their advice. It's toxic and shook me up a bit. They had the nerve to call me a freak.

I'm surprised they're allowed to use homophobic and racist slurs and I believe that they are in here because they can.

I have been upset by the homophobic comments in there before. But, a lot of things upset me atm.

Hehe, I regularly get them when I take the idiots to task. I'm not even gay but the moment they see a bloke in anything pretty it's all like "sissy faggot" and worse.

I know it's difficult to get over to anybody with anxiety or other issues, but I got lucky genetically or upbringingwise or something and can honestly say I give zero fucks what idiots like them think. Water off the proverbial duck's back.

I'm also the one who gets to talk to the wanker customers at work, because I never take it personally and can shrug off abuse without it ruining my day or even the next two minutes.

I am jealous. Anytime I have asshole clients getting difficult with me, or if I get wound up by whatever, it takes me hours, if.not the rest of the day, to relax again. I've gotten better with it over the years, but the problem remains
