The Israelis have done this before. I don’t believe too much can be read into it.

The Israelis still have plans for invading Rafah and eliminating the last remaining Hamas battalions (imho)..

The Israelis MAY be using this break in the action to form a better invasion plan for Rafah that prioritizes civilians, (evacuation, etc) in an effort to appease President Biden and his administration.

Biden and his handlers are floundering.......again. They are mixing domestic politics with foreign policy and that is a toxic brew.
Domestic policy and foreign policy come from the same thing. They are always connected.

Pretty official to most of us who listen.
Russia won't allow that. They have said for years, it's a redline that Ukraine never joins NATO, especially the Black Sea coast land. Russia's Black Sea fleet is in Crimea. It's the same sort of redline with China and Taiwan, where China says that Taiwan is a part of China.

Most, IMHO, are tainted with antisemitic bias.
LOL. In the words of Holocaust survivor, Dr. Hajo Meyer, in 2014 just before his death "If we want to stay really human beings, we must stand up and call the Zionists what they are, Nazi criminals".

Well, yes there is an overlap between domestic and foreign but it is the administrations obligation to make the case to the public to make that case. This administration hasn't done so.

There is no 'genocide' or 'ethnic cleansing' taking place in the Gaza strip. Yes, mother's and children are suffering. Mothers that are allowing their children to be raised, and indoctrinated, to become future Hamas fighters. You reap what you sow.

There is only one way to fight a war, totally. You make certain that there is no one left to threaten you. If you try to engage in wars for the purpose of peace for peace sake, or for an armistice, you are only delaying the the inevitable.

The more this idiotic administration tries to restrict the Israeli's, the longer this is going to go on........and on. I don't know if they really believe that a 'kinder gentler' war is a good thing, they're trying to kiss people like Randy's ass, or a combination of both, but the result will be failure.

I swear to god, the world is sick of Israeli Govt, IDF and Civilian lies.

It’s about the land.

It’s always been about the land.

They’ve made Gaza as uninhabitable as possible to try and kill or push the inhabitants out as much as possible.

7 October 2023 allowed Israel a convenient excuse to press on with their obvious plans.

They cut off water, electricity, communications, destroyed farmland, concreted wells, destroyed housing, civil infrastructure, schools, mosques, the entire she-bang.

Meanwhile the international community waits for evidence of this supposed vast network of tunnels.

For which virtually none has been forthcoming.

Entire hospitals’ equipment has been thoroughly destroyed, including ITU machines, in the name of what? Destroying Hamas?

Please. If you’re telling me you can’t take out Hamas operatives without smashing a hospital ward to bits, you don’t have a well trained army, you have a genocidal one.

I’m sick and tired of seeing the lies online.

I’m sick and tired of this genocide.

Ceasefire now, free Palestine. Israel’s legitimacy diminishes the worse this gets. Maybe stop now and regroup and rethink the approach to Palestine and the world before you become the pariah state of the world, as South Africa discovered before apartheid was ended?

AI created images

“AI created”

You really are a maniac and a total tosspot.

They’re all verified images from CNN, BBC, Al Jazeera and France 24.

Type in “Gaza child” into google and you’ll see them. They’re all real images.

Imagine being such a genocidal tosspot that you’d claim AI generation for photographs taken by photographers and journalists under the extremes of pressure due to Israeli bombing.

You are among the worst on this forum.

This thread will be updates related to the war between Hamas and Israel. The other thread on the topic was focused on Biden's foreign policies. This is related to political and military happenings by those involved as well as reaction from the International community.

Starting off, the immediate actions of Israel against Hamas. (I support the destruction of Hamas)

World Opinion Turns Sharply Against Israel After Deliberate Malicious Attack On Relief Workers

When aid workers are killed in the course of a conflict, the government responsible for the attack often pulls out this crisis response playbook: Immediately cite terrorist targeting as the true intention, in hopes of making the public narrative less about targeting civilians and more of a military oopsie rooted in good intentions.

In the case of the World Central Kitchen deaths, Israel Defense Forces spokespeople at first did not confirm that it was behind the strikes, then blamed the presence of a suspected Hamas militant. The IDF has used similar narratives in response to other attacks on aid convoys going back to the start of the war.
Once it was revealed, via reporting from the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, that the Israeli military drone attacked the aid workers on three separate occasions — while they were operating along a route approved by the Israeli army — Netanyahu issued a video statement in which he acknowledged Israeli armed forces “unintentionally” struck the convoy in a “tragic event.”
“This happens in war,” the prime minister concluded.

This explanation, that the fog of war inevitably results in innumerable civilian deaths, makes a mockery of international humanitarian law. It’s the moral equivalent of “these things happen,” as if the killing of noncombatants is out of anyone’s hands when, in fact, active choices are made by multiple individuals to research, identify and execute a drone strike.
The Israeli Dastard Force followed the playbook to the letter, but the general public seems to have grown tired of the constant lies being told by craven Israeli forces.

1. Say "Nuh Uh! Wasn't Us! Prooooove it!"
2. But....but....Hamas Militant!
3. "But....but....teh Fog of War!" 👈 YOU ARE HERE

How stupid does one have to be to think that Hamas operatives are not also Palestinian civilians?

You’re living in a 25 mile long and 5 miles wide piece of land.

You’ve been blockaded by the neighbouring country for 20 years.

You’ve been occupied, and then displaced, as an entire group of people from your homes by a group of terrorists for 75 years, following a violent uprising in 1948.

You’ve had access to the outside world limited by tightly controlled borders.

You don’t have access to your family members living in the West Bank, who are also under occupation and see their land stolen and people killed almost daily.

Your access to water, aid, food and electricity is dependent on whether the occupying force decides to give it to you, in complete breach of international humanitarian law.

You see no other alternatives to breaking this cycle than armed resistance against the occupying power.

So you join it. That armed resistance? Hamas.

How we got to this sorry state of affair is every bit as important as how we end it.

The bit that pro-Israel and Israelis don’t want the world to look at it, is everything before 7 October 2023. Because the history of Israel/Palestine is the worst of humanity in one country’s actions to another.

And frankly, the way in which Benjamin Netanhyu has a special place in all this - both building up Hamas in order to split West Bank and Gaza apart, and then use them for the destruction of Gaza, will go down as one of the most incredible crimes against humanity, knowingly and willingly creating the conditions under which he could launch his forever war.

And what a coincidence - at the very moment he is indicted for corruption, about to have a trial, probably have to call elections, we get the Hamas attack and the resounding fallout.

One day a historian will have more information available to them, for sure, and will probably come to the conclusion that all of this was manufactured from the start towards the end of Palestine and the beginning of “Greater Israel”…
