I was married at 20 and looking back. I was too young. But I am also one of the few who is still married. It'll be 32 years married this year, and 36 years together. It is rare.
Being the youngest of 11 children, my parents were in their late 40’s when I came along. My first husband also had elderly parents. We decided we wanted our children very young so that we could be more involved with them. I had my first child at 17 and the second one 18 months later. After 13 years together, we had both changed so much that we had grown apart. I didn’t want marriage (probably because my parents got divorced when I was 4 years old) but finally gave in and married him. It lasted two years before I left him. I don’t regret having my children young or having a long term relationship at such an early age. I do regret trying to fix it by getting married as I think that made it worse.

As an American: we should switch to the metric system. Freedom fractions are cool and all, but for a system to provide measurements and approximations, our system is fucking stupid.
Caveat - both F and C are flawed. Atmospheric temperature measurement should be 0° = freezing and 200° = boiling.

I say we just change the whole damn calendar too. What’s with this leap year shit? Fuck day light saving time too.

I ran track in high school in the early 80s. We had the 100/220/440 yard dashes
I ran INDOOR track in high school, I ran the 60 and 330 yard dashes

I college, they were 100/200/400 meter dashes, indoors it was 60 and 300.

I follow NASCAR. The races in Phoenix are 500K long on a mile track, which equates to 312 laps. Boy, the average NASCAR fan freaks out!
