......if I only had the money lol......yes this one is a kit car, and the SOHC 427 never came out in anything....many were used in drag racing applications.....Carrol Shelby built two 427 Side Oiler Cobra's with dual Paxton Superchargers and automatic transmissions.....Shelby's personal car (1 of 2) sold at Barrett Jackson 2006 for 5.5 million
 
I kind of followed the vintage Ford aspect, but certainly not limited to it....There are a lot of beautiful wheels out there, Loved the Firebirds/Camero's...the Vette's especially the 59 and 67, The Dodges of the late 60s early 70s, so many to pick from
 
I am a ford guy. F150, 70 Torino and a 1972 Ford 4000 tractor.

Love the Torino and tractor. So easy to work on. Found and replaced the hydraulic pump in the tractor last year.
 
The Ford tractors were not as popular in this area....a few Fordson's.....many Case, JD, International, Allis(Cochshutt/Oliver/White) etc....but I think the Ford's were pretty reliable though

It's more like Kinda Know. I know lots. I have never done this thing before like this. It's going to have a learning curve. The good thing is, I don't have a bunch of Irrational Fears about it. I have a stack of books and manuals, and there is a fantastic website with a couple of extremely knowledgeable people on it. And I have several parts cars in case I screw something up and need another part to take a whack at it.

the Gen Z snorted
the two Millennials looked incredulous

I am Gen X and I had to explain what 'cookin' with grease' meant!

Never having been a parent - I keep putting my foot in my mouth :ROFLMAO:

I bought my first Ford year before last. A 1952 (or so) model 8N tractor with 5' bush hog. I found such a deal on another one winter before last, so I bought it, too. Both need a bit of work but they both run and drive and will turn the PTO.


Home from the grocery shopping excursion. Let the week's cooking begin.
