Day 1: A song about friendship

We have a tiny, but very fun, reggae and dancehall scene in Sweden. I've seen a few of them live, and it's a massive party each and every time! Out of all the types of concerts and artists I've been to, none match the energy of 20000 people dancing in unison to Kapten Röd (Captain Red, shocker huh?)!

In 2009 we lost one of our most beloved reggae artists, Jr Eric, in a tragic motor accident.
Kapten, being one of his closest friends, dedicated this song to him.

I have never heard this before, and it is brilliant. I get your point about the middle part, but it reminds me of an updated Tom Lehrer --subversive satire.
