State of the Union Address Thread

Whatever you want to think makes no difference to me because you've shown that you can't actually think. Instead you hate and even when there's no reason for your hate to manifest you will create a false basis to justify it.
Are saying you don’t support Trump and do want the US to remain in NATO?

This conversation would be a lot simpler if you were just up front about your positions instead of being so evasive.

You keep creating these straw men to justify your own delusions about how things work IRL. I decline to support your fantasies.

You stand for nothing. You have no convictions you’re willing to stand up for.

So you say yet my posts here say otherwise. Or do you forget my position on abortion?

My entire career as an attorney also proves the lie in your words.

Basically you've gone off the deep end trying to justify your hatred of someone you've never met by making up an obviously fake reason to hate them. You NEED to hate. Well go on and hate away because the one thing hate doesn't need is a reason. It only needs someone STUPID ENOUGH to give in to it.

I am beyond your petty hatreds and bullshit.

Your position on abortions is “Whatever … if it’s legal I’m fine with it. If it’s illegal I’m against it.” No convictions or morals.

lol, your posts don't say what "you" think they say half the time. You fail to understand the context of the posts you reply to.

Yes you're way beyond being petty and the hatred and the bullshit. Your story would make a good episode of the "Twilight Zone"

I don't deal in convictions or morals. I deal in truth. Speak the truth and I'm your advocate. Lie as you continue to do, spread rumor and innuendo as you continue to do, advocate for harm to others as you continue to do and I will not care what happens to you.

Nor will I trouble myself to intercede on your behalf.

The law isn’t the “truth”. It’s a human construct, and is meaningless and cruel without the convictions and morals of good people to back it up.

Lol.

We are a nation of laws because the rule of law is what allows us to live together as a people without strife, anarchy, and chaos.

That is the truth. Nothing more, nothing less.

The truth is that we the people make the laws we live under. Blind acceptance of the status quo is not a good thing in an American citizen.

Really? 49 mass shootings so far in 2024, a whole thread here filled in with ammosexuals, salivating at the chance of civil war. A thread you gleefully jump into, adding your retched comments supporting the right to go out and kill your fellow American's be they adults or children.

The truth is you're a fucking gutless person, who hides behind the law, because you're afraid of stating your actual opinion on matters at hand.

Your simplistic view of ‘the rule of law’ as a cure for our national issues is not a satisfactory source of guidance. Our nation has experienced polarization, and people have lost trust in the legal system. The events that occurred on January 6th and Donald Trump's attempt to regain power clearly demonstrate this division.

We need to recognize and address the underlying social, economic, and political issues that contribute to social discord and unrest, rather than relying solely on the rule of law. We need to elect leaders who can ensure that our legal system treats all Americans fairly, justly, and with accountability, regardless of their race, gender, or socioeconomic status. The future of our democracy depends on it.

I turned off the Britt rebuttal as soon as I saw she was sitting in a kitchen. I liked the content and feistiness of Biden's speech, but I think he delivered it too fast (probably an intentional claim to his robustness), which led him to some speech miscues I'm surprised I haven't seen the Republicans hop on.

it was grandpa joe’s, get off my lawn! speech. his energy was provided by hunter.

it was a nice kickoff for his reelection campaign. it set a new standard for the annual speech. from now on out, it will be, the state of my party address.

In addition to the women here, HisArpy has decided that you are fodder for targeting. I do not know why, because like the women here you continually hand him his ass. Far be it from me to knock the kink of public humiliation.

I know why. It's because my replies to his remarks are well expressed and rational. He attempts to goad people into vitrolic responses - mine are reasoned and, usually, even in tone. He can't stand that kind of dispassionate response or sustain a reasoned response from an oldster on the subject matter.

And thank you for commenting on this point.

trump's post re the covid vaccine development, in response to President Biden's comments, drew ire from alex jones and other magats

trump: "YOU'RE WELCOME, JOE, NINE MONTH APPROVAL TIME VS. 12 YEARS THAT IT WOULD HAVE TAKEN YOU!"

Conservative podcaster Tracy Beanz screenshotted Trump's Truth Social post, adding: "The amount of anger I have over this can't be quantified in words."

This was reposted in turn by Jones, who commented on X: "I love Trump but this is bull s***! The so called vaccine is a biological weapon! Good news is people are awake and not even 45 [Trump was the 45th president] can sell it."

Other X accounts agreed with Jones, as one self-styled 'America First' campaigner wrote: "This is how Trump will lose voters. Whoever is advising Trump should tell him to distance himself from praising 'vaccines' that have killed hundreds of thousands people."

Marie Isabella, an X user with 11,700 followers, posted: "I can't believe he is continuing to double down on the vaccine. It's also unbelievable that they continue to call it a 'vaccine,' and that they're still pushing boosters, despite more studies indicating serious problems with the vax."
another thought it was trump's ego that prevented him from seeing just how badly he was fooled by Dr. Fauci and others into thinking what he was doing was good...

ignorance has a loud voice
