Day 23 - A song from the '10s

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard.
Australian phenoms, multi-instrumentalists, genre-breakers. How does one classify this band? I have absolutely no idea.

King Gizzard is one of the most prolific bands I've ever encountered. For example, in 2017 they released 5 albums within the span of a few months, and each had its own genre, spanning from heavy metal to synth-pop to neo-psychedelia.

They're not so much pushing music forward, as they are taking bits and pieces from absolutely everything and painting this mosaic of sound. It's confusing, but lovely. But no matter what they try, they excel.

Had it been just that one burst of inspiration, that could've been explained, but no. 25 albums over 14 years!
They never stop. It's incomprehensible. It doesn't make any-

Count on Me- Bruno Mars
Was going to flag this decade , but then I remembered this song from 2011
Of course, during this time my hometown was in the middle of devastating earthquakes and this song (looking back) seems to exlemplify the community spirit of the times..

A song from the teens.

We still supposed to feature black artists and love songs? I know Iโ€™ve been DQd a long time ago. But does make the challenge tougher.

This is a cool black band from England. Cool punky, new, wavy, synth soundโ€ฆ I like em.

A really solid song. Donโ€™t think it caught on thoโ€ฆ

White Girls (Student of the Blues, Part 1) - Diarrhea Planet

Good song. Never heard of them before.

The album cover reminds me of the Raymond Pettibone he did for the older black flag records.
