There are also religions that have been twisted to suit a certain narrative but these are not actually religions in the true sense of the word as they spew hate and vengeance on a world that doesn't see things their way.

Well, this is exactly what people have a problem with. Religion being used to harm. In my lifetime I've seen a lot more of religion being used to harm than to help.
