My high school, in 1982, had graduates from Mechanics/Shop, Food Service, Nursing, and Cosmetology! The first school in the area code with more than 2 trade programs! And we were a city school!
I have my AS and BS in Computer Science. What helped me along the way was my skill of finding errors in code! Like the ONE semi-colon/colon mistake in hundreds, if not thousands, of lines of code!

I have two cousins who went tuition free to an Ivy League school.
From an economics viewpoint, the phd’s are being paid what the market considers a “fair” value.
I have no PhD, and make twice what my family members who have them. They spent 8+ years in school and either work for those colleges or for fortune 500 companies, and still have a hard time making ends meet. People that brilliant should not be struggling.

I disagree, although I could be wrong also depends what the masters is. If I became a maid tomorrow because I no longer wanted to do the job I do I cannot expect to be paid what I currently am, I would be paid what the job of a maid gets paid. Having a degree in mechanical engineering and working as a car salesman might mean the person is paid a bit more than those around them but probably less than working in the field of mechanical engineering. Also having a degree does not mean a person has the aptitude to be successful in their chosen profession. I work in a world where performance is rewarded and all the people I work with are good performers and therefore rewarded well.
A study back in the 90’s showed an inverse correlation between intelligence and lifetime earnings. Most geniuses don’t end up wealthy. The main reason being a healthier work life balance.

Little bit sexist me thinks, so it's okay for a man to? I do however agree that when every sentence has a curse word it does become a bit tiresome to listen to or read a persons thoughts/ideas/response etc. I believe they can be used for impact in situations that require it, other than that I think it shows a lack of vocabulary in the spoken language.
Sort of agree, and don't differentiate between sexes. But some people just swear so well and so often that it's like part of them. Others swear a lot just to impress and often sound silly, in my opinion
If I had differentiated between the two, then yes it would have been sexist. And for the record, men that use profanity in their everyday conversation bothers me as well. But, I only find women attractive, hence my statement that that they are less attractive than women who don't constantly curse when discussing the weather or what restaurant is good.
