I occasionally do private dining bookings too. I recently did a surf and turf event where some guys paid me a lot of money for Lobster, Scallops, Oysters followed by Chateaubriand with Dauphinoise Potatoes and all the trimmings... charged them £130 per person for the privilege

I was the same. Guilty as hell.Yeah, I bought a live lobster from my local fishmongers once... Dispatched it the same way but I swear I had strong feelings of guilt for days afterwards. I was like Homer from the Simpsons when he gave his pet lobster a hot bath. He was sobbing his eyes out at the same time as eating him.![]()
