Dear Dairy (misspelling intentional unless I post bewbs),

Yesterday, I discovered that I'm short some mags for my Rock Island double-stack 10mm, so I ordered a couple more. Full capacity, of course, since it's a double stack. They haven't arrived yet, which is totally unfair. I shall refrain from having a sad. Barely.


I prayed to Allah the required 5 times yesterday. I thanked him again that my firearms didn't kill me in the night, because guns kill people, you know. And I thanked him for giving me dominion over the fear-filled anti-gun yutzes who feel the need to bless me with their mewlings and credit me for being one of the most destructive forces ever known. I know that Allah plans to gather them to him soon and to put them in the warmest corner of that most special place, Islamic Hell, where the fires burn hotter and Eternity lasts longer. I also know beyond the proverbial shadow that Allah will send me the memos for whatever various skulduggery and general naughtiness he shall require of me, and when. You know, to stoke the Fear, because Wat has that kind of power. For these and his other manifold blessings and great mercies, I am truly thankful.


And most thankful that I know to disbelieve 100% of what I hear and half of what I see.

A thread is a thread, Ish. Ain't nothing more or less special about this thread than any other in this forum that requires comments to keep it afloat.

AJ seems to have evacuated the premises. Your old once-reliable morning crew is gonna need some help keeping things above water if the members keep shedding away like this. ;)
 
Busy fucking day yesterday. Got to meet a man who is USAR, worked as a cop for awhile, and now runs a firearms training organization. We'll meet and chat again as the weekend progresses. It'll be nice to pick his brain on EDC and things like that.
 
Active, then reserve, now retired. He told a funny story on the motivation to get out of the reserves, but it has a lot of triggers in it.


In fact, his conversations are full of triggers. There will be many laughs had. And here I thought this was going to be uberboring.
