Good luck with that! You all know why Trump put a half a billion dollar addition on GITMO! And its not closing anytime soon! Its hilarious if you ask me! One way tickets to the land of death are being handed out daily and will continue long after old Joe is done and gone!
Like Trump said Saturday night, quick trials, BANG, done and gone! Maybe you clowns should start paying attention to what he says, instead of watching the communist media propaganda machine, which hes taking out as we speak, one commie at a time! Hopefully not. It is a stain on our nation even if most people don't think much about it much. Kinda like how for a long stretch we just accepted that Iraq and Afghanistan are here to stay. Until we get a president who is willing to put in the work and even though I'm not a huge fan of bipartisan in our government this needs everybody.
I can't believe people are still trying to defend this kind of thing.
As for the MAGAts most don't belong in jail at all but a frightening amount of them should be put away. Even if you want to believe that Trump and Fox didn't cause J6 which they did. You can't spend two months riling people up about a stolen election then tell them to go to the capitol its gonna get wild and not expect this. I mean if I genuinely thought that the election was stolen I'd be more than happy to get violent after other avenues were attempted which Trump did.

I’m not sure what the good press would be. Right-wing media would have a new faux issue to rant about. I doubt if most people care if GITMO is closed or not.

I'm not sure that the Republicans want to acknowledge that, under the Biden administration, the United States has much the stronger economy than almost anywhere else. We all were hit with the effects of Covid. We clearly saw how the Trump administration responded to this (bleach anyone?) and we're now seeing how the Biden administration does. The reality now is that the Republicans are conducting a fake smear campaign on that issue.

Inflation. Mass layoffs in the higher paying fields of work. And look closer at the market. There is a fair amount of selling going on. Many of the bouy's are driven by hedgefund size investing. Take a look at Market Cap. New overall lows in market cap do not signify a strong market. Once again kicked the can down the road sustaining high rates. After 2 4 trillion dollar spending bills they continue to spend more money on foreign wars they could have prevented. No decrease in pricing as inflation continues to climb. I couldn't believe they drove meat prices up. Beef increased again. Pork is not cheap anymore and increased again this week. Chicken is high too. Another .20 cents on whole young friers this week. On sale bulk thighs or legs are 2.99. No signs of prices coming down. Cost of shipping is being driven higher as obiden continues to hinder stability in the name of climate bullshit. Gas here in Virginia is still near 4$ a gallon....
We acknowledge that this happened under the obiden administration. The lack of stability is good only for the 1%, 99% of which are the liberals propping up sleepy Joe.

These are not improving and he is asking for more spending.
Any time there is a slight improvement he says look what a great job I'm doing.
He created all these massive problems and is pretending he fixed them. It doesn't work like that.

Yes, they are improving. Official reports point to that nearly daily. Until you stop lying and recognize that the economy is recovering in far better shape than anyone anticipated--all under the Biden administration--there's no reason to read anything else you post. Just stop lying about the status of the U.S. economy.

Actually that's the problem. Biden doesn't get out in front of the cameras and boast about what he did, neither did Obama. One of the problems with Dems is they don't understand that politics works on WWE logic. You can lose while telling the opponent to "Suck it" and they will love you. You can win but quietly go back to the locker room and nobody cares.
The only things that could be considered worse whether they are his fault or not are illegal immigration, Ukraine and Israel. Everything else has improved. It took a while but our fucked up political system makes it impossible to move fast enough for people to feel what you've done before its too late.
Shrinkflation has been off and on since 2008. The real issue we're gonna slam into especially on food stuffs is we don't have the testicular or ovarian fortitude to break up companies that have gotten too big and have too much power. Forget for a moment who was president since the problem as a whole has probably been around for a decade and we just got lucky. How the fuck does ONE company having tainted baby formula constitute a nation wide problem? Isn't that too much in too few hands? I could point the same for plenty of other things, the media both entertainment and informative. A debate could be made for Android vs Apple (I just think we mostly win in that particular one), banks. Car companies. I remember Paul Ryan crying like a bitch that we had to save the auto industry or everybody dies.
Thing is he wasn't wrong it just fucking sucked. No three men should be able to walk into Congress, threaten the nation for their fuck ups and not get laughed out of the room.
There is nothing wrong with more spending.
