It might be Covid. My wife and I have been very congested since early this week and a bit tired the last few days. We assumed we both had bad colds. Since we had some Covid test kits in the house we decided to use them before the shelf life date expires. We were really surprised they both came up positive. I’ve taken NyQuil before bed the last couple nights and it’s been very effective. The symptoms peaked on Thursday and have been getting better since then.

Thanks. I did use a COVID test yesterday and it was negative. I feel better today but still feel congested. I will probably keep testing for the next 2 days.

You poor thing! Do you have a vaporizer? If so, try that. If not, try boiling some water in a pot. You can add some Vicks to the pot. Take the pot off the stove & hold your head a comfortable distance from the steam with a towel over your head. This should loosen the mucous and help it flow. If you have a neti pot, that's a good thing to use also.

Thank you. I use a sinus rinse and hot wash cloths for the congestion. I also take mucinex and antihistamines. And I drink lots of hot tea as I sniff the steam.

Today I feel better and even took naps and slept through the night. The sore throat that developed has become less intense. I just hope I do not get a bacterial infection.

I wish you were my nurse.

Thanks Lilianna. I got the original vaccine two part series when it first came out, and a booster about six months later but haven’t been boosted since. This is my second case of Covid and fortunately, both have been very mild. Feeling good today and ready for the game.

Its about noon and I have been getting better. Sinuses feel more normal and my throat is not as sore and my voice sounds awful.

I have been napping alot. Maybe I have sleeping sickness. I hope to make it to the first half of the game.

I’m seriously considering that people like us who work, never quit, and take it on the chin for the greater good are ones who build legacies. After we’re dead and gone others will look to us as true warriors. Work ethic is what makes the work go around so that it can continue to provide good things for others. My $.02 for the moment.
